In the 1881 & 1891 Census' James is listed as being a "Traveller & Commission Agent".

His exact death date is unknown as of yet, but it is known that he died between 1899 & 1900.

James married Mary Harris {581} [MRIN: 97], daughter of James Harris {577} and Jane Barnard {578}, on March 5, 1868 in Frome, Somerset, England. (Mary Harris {581} was born on February 14, 1850 in Marston, Bedfordshire, England, died on April 5, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario and was buried on April 7, 1921 in Saint John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario.) The cause of her death was Myocarditis/Arterio-Sclerosis.
