At the time of his ownership he possessed over 115 acres of land, a considerable piece of agriculture at the time. John married Elizabeth Hodgkin {694} [MRIN: 230], daughter of John Hodgkin {211} and Mary Hodgkin {1357}, on September 3, 1770 in Hartwell, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, Britain. (Elizabeth Hodgkin {694} was born on March 29, 1752 in Ashton, Northamptonshire, Britain and died on May 9, 1786 in Hartwell, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, Britain.)
