Alice's death was noted as "sudden" on her death certificate. She had not been ill prior to death.

Alice married John Barnard Harris {579} [MRIN: 197], son of James Harris {577} and Jane Barnard {578}, on May 23, 1881 in Saulter Street, York County, Toronto, Ontario. (John Barnard Harris {579} was born on September 18, 1856 in Marston, Bedfordshire, England, died on June 22, 1930 in 1624 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario and was buried in Saint John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario.) The cause of his death was Arterio-Sclerosis & Diabetes.

  Marriage Notes:

According to Jane (Barnard) Harris' notes, John and Alice were married at the home of the bride's Father on Saulter Street (near the Gardiner Expressway) in Toronto.

They were married by Rev. P.A. Dyke, assisted by Rev. F.H. Adams.

John B. Harris was residing in London, Ontario when he and Alice married...he and Alice became London, Ontario residents directly after marriage. They would move to Toronto in the future and settle on Danforth Avenue until their deaths.

Alice was the daughter of George Kimber of Toronto.
