bullet  General Information:

The home at #2 Cameron Avenue was owned by James and Sarah. In later years May (Duckie) Duckworth would live on this same street with members of the Perkins family.

James was a "Teamster" by trade - today a Teamster would be called a Truck Driver, so it is safe to assume that James was a Wagon Driver for basically the same purposes as a modern day Truck Driver does.

bullet  Research Information:

James was a "Hide Merchant" by trade; but on some census' he is referred to as a "Butcher".

bullet  Medical Information:

On July 19 James had an operation to drain his bladder. He died shortly afterwards on the same day.

(Sarah Ann Pool was born on 8 Jun 1849 in England, died on 27 Nov 1927 in 414 Strathmore Blvd., Toronto, Ontario and was buried on 30 Nov 1927 in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Toronto, Ontario.) The cause of her death was Hypostatic Pneumonia.
