bullet  Research Information:

Ann never married. She lived in a cottage on the High Street of Cranfield. She raised her brother Thomas' youngest son Frank after the death of his Mother and also provided a home to Thomas' oldest child Florence Annie when she returned to Cranfield from Liverpool to be a teacher.

Ann was of strong faith and taught the bible class for many years at the Baptist Chapel in Cranfield.

In 1891 the Census shows that Ann's niece Florence Richardson and her nephew Frank Richardson (Florence and Frank were siblings - the oldest and youngest in their family) living with her.

In her 70's she was taken to live with her nephew Frank and his wife Nellie White at Goldington, Bedfordshire.

Ann's grave was filmed by W.T. Harris and his sister Jean (Jane) Richardson Harris when they visited Marston in 1930. These films have now been transferred to DVD and her grave marker is clear, although, when this writer visited the Baptist graveyard in 2005, the grave was not visible.
