Donald James Hill

  General Information:

Donald James Hill grew up in Arthur, Ontario and moved to London, Ontario for grade 13 and then went on to school at Western in 1979 where he earned an Honours B.Sc. in Statistics and Actuarial Science. He started his working career with Dominion Life in Waterloo in 1984 and then moved to Toronto in 1987 to join William M. Mercer Limited.

Don married Rayma Hayes in 1987 and they have two children: Scott, born in 1994 and Sarah, born in 1997. Don is still working with Mercer (now called Mercer Human Resource Consulting).

Rayma, Don and the children live at Bloor and Keele in the west end of Toronto and they enjoy their cottage on Tobin Island on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka in the summer. Besides school and work in the winter, they cross country ski at their club (Hardwood Hills) in Barrie.
