Michael Robert Laxer

Michael holds an Honours B.A. in History from Glendon College of York University and studied French Language and Civilization at the University of Avignon in France.

With his partner he has owned and operated a bookstore for the last nine years in Etobicoke Lakeshore. Prior to that he worked in upper management for a Bay St. transportation firm.

Michael has run as a candidate for the NDP both provincially (in 2003) and federally (in 2000) and is a co-founder of the Ginger Project which seeks to create a Democratic Socialist election agenda for the province of Ontario.
