According to her birth registry, Susannah was delivered by a Dr. Heggie.
The Heggie family would marry into the Rayson/Fleury/Harris families in 1941 when Annie Bettina Fleury (the niece of Susannah and the daughter of John Fleury & Nellie Harris) married Dr. William Heggie.
Based on photograph's it is apparent that Susannah & Nellie Harris were good friends and may have attended school together. Susannah's brother William would marry the eldest daughter of Nellie and John Fleury years later.
