William Ralph Plummer

   Cause of his death was Influenza - Worsened by Organic Heart Disease.

  General Information:

It is evident (by William's Death Reg. Information) that William and his third wife, Mary Jane Le Huquet, either moved in with his unmarried daughter (from his first marriage) Mildred Plummer, or they lived very near Mildred in Newmarket, Ontario.

It seems that he moved to the Newmarket area shortly after the death of his second wife, Mabel E. Wells, probably right around the time of his marriage to wife #3, Mary Jane Le Huquet.

William's third and last wife, Mary Jane Le Huquet, was the sister of Emma Le Huquet. Emma was the wife of Eric Wells. Eric was William's brother-in-law when he was married to wife #2 - Mabel Wells, from 1913 until her death in 1920.

He married Mary Jane about 8 months after Mabel passed away.

Sadly, it seems that William was only married to Mary Jane for just over 2 years when he passed away from Influenza.

Mildred decided to bury William in Newmarket as well.

William was a widower when he married Mabel Wells in 1913. Sadly, he would be a widower once again just six and a half years from the date that he married Mabel Wells in 1913. Mabel passed away in 1920.

William married Mabel Emily Wells, daughter of James Herbert Wells and Mary Harris, September 17, 1913 in Toronto, Ontario. (Mabel Emily Wells was born March 18, 1873 in Frome, Somerset, England, died April 26, 1920 in Mount Albert, Whitchurch County, York, Ontario and was buried in Saint John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario.) The cause of her death was Cancer of the Jaw & Bowel.

William next married Mary Jane Le Huquet, daughter of John Francis Le Huquet and Sarah Jane Price, January 6, 1921 in York, Ontario, Canada. (Mary Jane Le Huquet was born December 12, 1882 in Sandy Beach, Gaspe, Quebec.)

  Marriage/Relationship Information:

Emma (Le Huquet) Wells (wife of Eric) witnessed the marriage between her sister and W.R. Plummer...who was, once again, her brother-in-law.

Before W.R. Plummer married Mary Jane, he was married to Eric Wells' sister.
