The below was writen by Ella's Granddaughter, Kelly (Smith) Whaley:
The headstone says Ella "C." MacDonald Quirmbach. Ella grew up thinking her middle name was Christine. When she applied for a copy of her birth certificate in the early 1960's, she found out her middle name was Mildred. When asking her mother about it, she said she had sent Ella's father to sign the certificate, so he must have written Mildred.
Ella married George Roos Quirmbach Juniour, son of George Roos Quirmbach and Emily Coulter, in Jul 1934 in New York City, New York, U.S.A. (George Roos Quirmbach Juniour was born on 21 Nov 1907 in Leeds County, Brockville, Ontario, died on 31 Dec 1995 in St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, Ontario and was buried on 2 Jan 1996 in Leeds County, Brockville, Ontario.)
