George Stapleton Richardson {1198}

  General Notes:

George was a Horse Dealer by trade but always suffered from ill health. Many of his family members helped him with his trade due to his conditions. On one such occasion his younger brother (by ten years), William Thomas, fell from a horse after delivering a dead horse for George. Sadly, William died the following day from the injuries he sustained.

George, by all accounts, always felt responsible for William's death. This tragic happening surely aided in worsening George's physical and mental state - surely it played a major role in bringing about his death all that much more prematurely in 1916 at the age of 38.

George married Florence Mabel Bell {1222} [MRIN: 396] in May 1908 in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England. (Florence Mabel Bell {1222} was born about 1878 in Castor, Northamptonshire, England.)
