Fanny Harris

Fanny appears in the 1841 Census living with the family of Abraham & Elizabeth Richardson - Elizabeth (Willason) Richardson was the second wife of Abraham Richardson. It is assumed that Fanny was the child of Joseph and Ann (Austin) Harris just based on her birth year.

It is believed that Fanny was the sister of Richard Harris - Father of Richard Harris who was the Father of James Harris who was the Father of William Harris.

Based on several census records (earliest being 1811) it is clear that the Harris & Richardson families were neighbours for years, and probably good friends as well. These two families shared a common community relationship for at least 50 years prior to the marriage of William Harris and Caroline Richardson in 1872.
